Hello my beautiful friend,
This blog is my eye, and inspiration, on interior design and I want to share my observations and work in order to assist you along the way. I hope I can inspire you to think more about design and art, and give you ideas on how to decorate your home.
I have always loved design, since I was a small girl. Others first noted it when I was about 12 years old when my art teacher saw my passion for drawing dresses. She encouraged my talent and helped me grow it, a big part of my passion for fabrics still comes from my love of working also with designs of dresses and clothing.
At university I discovered my dream; I noticed that no matter where I was, in a room, at a restaurant, at the dentist or at someone’s place I redecorated, moved added and removed furniture’s in my head. I re-painted it all over and changed most of the lighting, well you name it and my mind did it. I am today happy that my dream became my life, and today I work with interior decoration, style and design.
Every home I have decorated, and/or designed, has one thing in common, they relate to each other but they have different characteristics. It is like all rooms talk to each other, I work hard on finding that special tone that a customer wants, or don’t know they want, and then see to it that it follows like a red thread through the whole house/apartment.
Thank you for finding me and reading my blog.
Yours truly,
Tanya

I’m really in love with your style!! I’m an italian girl and my great dream is to become an interior designer (maybe for hotels…) I’m 21 and attend the 3rd year’s faculty of languages for the management and tourism (that’s why I’d like to be designer of hotels..😊😁) after this little introduction 😅 could you be so kind to tell me your path to become interior designer? What courses can I attend and what kind of certificates I have to collect? I hope you can give me some little advice..🙈 Have a good day! 😚😚

Dear Sylvia, thank you for your kind words. My path is way to long and it’s a lot of effort and hard work behind it.
Interior Design has become very popular in recent years. The interest in interior design has increased in general. I have always been interested in interior design, scenography and design in general. It’s really my passion. I’m sure that there are a lot of educational options for you in Italy so you can develop your creative skills and create fabulous and functional meeting places, homes and offices. Start by combining courses and work in interior design boutique. Find a few interior shops that you like and ask them if can start practicing.
Good luck and let me know if you have more thoughts or questions.

Hi, I’m a new interior designer and I just moved to Italy. I don’t speak Italian but I really want to start my own buisness here… any useful tips (other than learning Italian (I’m trying)). I haven’t had my first job yet but I have worked on my partners house and his building…
Which city do you live? I’m in Roma… I would love to come to a job with you and see what you do.
Thanks 🙂
